Ten extra books followed, his last contributions being the House & Backyard Guide of Romantic Rooms (1985), and Home & Backyard Guide of Traditional Rooms (1989); in 1980 with Miles Hadfield he printed British Gardeners: a biographical dictionary – this being a remodeling of Pioneers in Gardening a e-book which he had developed with Miles Hadfield and Leonie Highton thirty five years earlier.
